Direct survivor connections with direct, life-changing impact
In the PHIGS 9-Point Guardianship Model, highly qualified engagement by house parents, navigators, teachers, and mentors is of key importance. We have designed this community of care with effectiveness and accountability in mind as each girl moves along her individual path "from harm to wholeness."

House Parents
As part of our comprehensive 9-Point model, House Parents are carefully selected couples who live full-time in our residential homes. They are rigorously vetted through background checks, deeply trained, and crucially, trauma-informed. They are the anchor-points in our direct care community for each survivor..."from harm to wholeness." Read "The Heart of Healing at PHIGS"

Navigators
While House Parents create the loving family environment and Administration ensures organizational strength, it is our Navigators who serve as the vital guides, walking alongside each girl on her unique path to healing and wholeness. Read "Journey Partners: Navigators"

Teachers
At Parham-Hurst International Girls Society (PHIGS), we firmly believe in the transformative power of education. It is not merely about academics; it is about empowerment, agency, and unlocking the God-given potential within each individual. Within our 9-Point Guardianship Model, our Teachers are not just instructors; they are visionaries, shaping futures and building pathways to hope through learning.

Mentors
While our classrooms nurture intellect and our homes provide family, we recognize the transformative power of individual guidance and connection outside those structured environments. This is where our dedicated Mentors step in, embodying the wisdom of Proverbs 27:17: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."
